  • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field;
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role (Essential);
  • Proven experience with HRIS platforms (Essential);
  • Previous experience in HRIS implementation or system migrations (Advantageous);
  • Willingness to work overtime as and when required;
  • Knowledge of HR principles;
  • Proficiency in HR analytics tools and data visualization;

Job Overview

Effective and efficient facilitation of development and maintenance of the SAP Payroll and Time modules in support of business needs.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Assist with the implementation and roll-out of new releases of SAP and new SAP functionality in accordance with ERP Management best practice.
  2. Proactive identification of risk and problems and in time escalation to key stakeholders.
  3. Maintain accurate and updated documentation of all change requirements, configurations, test plans and project acceptance.
  4. Accurate business process flow reviews to ensure full alignment with BRS.
  5. Accurate evaluation of system functional specifications for business requirements.
  6. Accurate data review to decide on actions/ strategy to clean and migrate data e.g. comparison of data architecture, data mapping.
  7. Full adherence to ERP Centre of Excellence SOPs.
  8. Optimal configuration of system in line with business requirements.
  9. Regular review of payroll and leave system configurations.
  10. Ensure accuracy of leave provision and time evaluation runs.

  12. Facilitation of SAP training as required by end users.
  13. Effective and efficient utilisation of team members to ensure delivery in line with expected quality and timeframes.
  14. Ongoing monitoring of ITSM calls and TPR's to proactively ensure optimal support to end users.
  15. Ongoing monitoring of SAP business processes to ensure alignment with end user needs and best practice.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • National Diploma or BCom degree in Finance/Accounting/Human Resources or relevant qualification (NQF 6/7) .
  • SAP HCM Payroll certification.
  • 5 to 7 years SAP ERP Payroll support experience.
  • Experience in integration of SAP FI, HR, Payroll & Time Management.
  • Knowledge and experience in SAP payroll Rules and Schemas.
  • SAP Time Management certification (advantage).
  • SAP HCM certification (advantage).
  • Query Manager Skills (advantage).
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of different SAP modules.

  • Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to inform HR strategy and decision-making;
  • Provide input for monthly reports to the HR & Corporate Manager with the aim to enhance business decision-making capabilities (Headcount/ASL/Finance/Board report/4LC/IT/Reception/Training/Compliance audits);
  • Ensure HR systems and data meet legislative and organizational compliance standards;
  • Support audits and submissions related to employment equity, BBBEE, skills development, and other statutory requirements;
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to align systems and data practices;
  • Train HR team members and end-users on system usage and best practices.
  • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field;
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar role (Essential);
  • Proven experience with HRIS platforms (Essential);
  • Previous experience in HRIS implementation or system migrations (Advantageous);
  • Willingness to work overtime as and when required;
  • Knowledge of HR principles;
  • Proficiency in HR analytics tools and data visualization;
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data privacy regulations, and compliance frameworks;
  • Proficient use of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Strong interpersonal skills;
  • Analytical mind-set with attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations;
  • Project Management.

  • Facilitate and maintain HR Information Systems (HRIS) and related platforms;
  • Partner with HR and IT to implement system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements;
  • Serve as a key point of contact for system troubleshooting and user support;
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across HR systems;
  • Develop and maintain data standards, governance processes, and documentation;
  • Provide support for various HR projects and respond to HR related inquiries as required;
  • Design and deliver dashboards and reports on key HR metrics;
  • Provide analytical support as and when required;
