Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Home-Based HR Specialist with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition . This position plays a key role in helping our organization identify, attract, and retain top-tier talent across diverse industries. As a remote HR professional, you will work independently while collaborating closely with hiring managers and department heads to fulfill hiring goals aligned with our strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define recruitment strategies and talent needs.

  • Develop and maintain job descriptions and specifications.

  • Proven experience in talent acquisition or full-cycle recruiting, preferably in a remote environment.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, labor laws, and recruitment tools/platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and critical thinking.
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in HR, with a strong emphasis on recruitment or talent acquisition .
  • Experience working remotely or in a consultancy setting is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with hiring across different levels and functions, including technical and non-technical roles.
Working Hours
  • Flexible working hours with core availability required between 9 AM – 3 PM CST .
  • Candidates must be able to occasionally adapt to other time zones depending on client needs.

  • Deep understanding of talent sourcing strategies and modern recruitment methodologies.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates, clients, and internal teams.
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
