Description

The main purpose of this role is to offer first line helpdesk and desktop support to 13 different sites.

  • Must have good attention to detail.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Customer service skills and an ability to work with customers of varying levels.
  • Responding to & closing tickets within the required service level targets.
  • Provisioning equipment and software for new/existing team members.
  • Expected to keep up with technology, learn new systems the Company implements.
  • Assist the IT team with any tasks necessary.
  • Must have experience building/disassembling a PC and reinstalling software (MS Windows and Office Packages).
Minimum Requirements
  • Matric.
  • A+ and N+ Certification.
  • Driver’s license and own transport.
  • 1 to 2 years’ experience in a similar role (advantageous but not required).
  • Working in shifts including some weekends, this is not a normal 8am - 5pm position.
